The Davao Central Seventh-day Adventist of Davao Mission – Women’s Ministries Department joined their efforts and implemented their plans to advance God’s work last April 11-17, 2021, held at Brgy Linosutan, Talicud Island, Davao del Norte.

The Women’s Ministries have taken measures and proper planning for the said activity. Since the planned Mega Crusade was postponed last year due to the pandemic, they have diverted it to another crusade this year.

The Women’s Nightly Crusade finally pushed through last April 11-17, 2021. The Women’s team arrived at Brgy Linosutan via Barge at Sasa Wharf. Upon arrival at Kaputian Port, another boat ride going to Talicud Island, where the four barangays are– Brgy Sta Cruz, Brgy Cogon, Brgy Linosutan, and Brgy Dadatan.

The Women’s Ministries have chosen Brgy Linosutan and were excited as they arrived last April 9, 2021. They spent their vesper and Sabbath day in the middle of nature, where the church is situated.

The Abundant Life seminar, a weeklong celebration, was led by the Women’s and Health ministries of Davao Central Seventh-day Adventist Church. Mr. Rogelio Buton, Jr., with the assistance of the Naval Forces Eastern Mindanao, conducted a Medical and Dental Check-up with minor surgeries administered. This medical mission lasted for six hours and served 121 beneficiaries receiving medical consultations and medicines. Other services also did 105 tooth extraction patients and 114 circumcisions. We are very grateful to the Medical team who gave their time and services to the people in far-flung areas like this. The call that has been heard and was taken action by our Medical Missionaries!

The Abundant life seminar officially opened at 6:00 pm April 11, 2021, at Linosutan SDA Church with 70 seminarians during the first night and has increased in the following nights. The weather cooperated with the nightly programs where the participants have deeply understood the presentations.

Ms. Rodelene Mae Hinoguin-Ragudo presented the health message, Ms. Charity Quisido-Allarse on family life, and Pastor Arnulfo Allarse of Davao Central Adventist Church delivered the Gospel message.

The Gospel Seminar culminated ran from April 11-17, where 55 individuals accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour through baptism. We praise the Lord for His leading.

Jesus’ compassion in Matthew 9:35-38 was emulated, it says;

35″And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. 36 “But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion on them because they fainted and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. 37 “Then saith He unto His disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few; 38 “Pray ye, therefore, the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth laborers into His harvest.

We are God’s laborers here on earth. Let us occupy ourselves with His most excellent gospel commission.

The Davao Central Seventh-day Adventist Church (DCC) is grateful to those who supported the weeklong event: DCC Prayers partners; laypeople and bible workers; the Women’s Ministries team of Linusotan, DCC elder Elva Mae Lambo; Pr. and Mrs. Jeramel Enerio; Pr. and Mrs. Arnulfo Allarse; the kitchen crew and above all to our Almighty God for the provisions!
