Lockdown frees 31 for Christ!

Even during the lockdown, our laymen assigned in sitio Kahusayan, in Calinan district of Davao City, continued their mission, though faced with restricted mobility.

As news of the pandemic crisis covered the entire region, people in this area felt a sense of urgency, especially on their spiritual standing before the Lord.

As our laymen gave appeals and exhortations, they responded positively that resulted in the baptism of 31 precious individuals.

Since there’s a clear reception of our hope radio broadcast in that village, we decided to provide radios to families who don’t have one and can’t afford to buy one for themselves.

The Adventist Media services, through Mr. Rhoen Catolico, the Media Director, initially gave three radios and some brethren added.

Today, people are already aware of the gospel messages on the air with the hope, and more will respond as we introduce an enhanced evangelism program through the Voice of Prophecy Bible Correspondence program. (David Bornales, district pastor)
