Palomares, South Philippine Union Conference (SPUC) Stewardship Director, in his sermon during the morning devotional after the motorcade. “The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord,” he further emphasized, quoting Lamentations 3: 25-26.

In the presence of almost 2000 participants, Pastor Jerry C. Patalinghug, president of Davao Mission, formally opened the celebration with a quote “Mabuhay Davao Mission!” The crowd, in response, gave him a joyful sound and noise.
