Members of the Adventist Church in Tagum Center came spiritually armed with the faith and zealousness for the launching of Integrated Evangelism Lifestyle (IEL) Program on August 15 with the theme, “Cares… get involve.”
The launch was held at Tagum Center Adventist Church, Magugpo North, Tagum City. The grand launching of the IEL Program was successful as spearheaded by Pr. Arnulfo Allarse of Tagum Center. The event was supported by the different care groups namely; the Jasper, Walker, Zion, Valiant, TCY, Builder, Merry Heart, Believers, Amazing Grace, Precious Jewel, Love, and the Cross.
Davao Mission director Pr. Jasper Love Panuncio of the Sabbath School and Personnel Ministries department, spoke and lectured on the value of unity in every care group. “I would like to tell you, brethren how important the IEL is! This launching will also teach you how to arrange the program, and how to engage in friendship and integration.”
“The mission of the home extends beyond its own members. The Christian home is to be an object lesson, illustrating the excellence of the true principles of life…Nobler principles of life are introduced into other households, and an uplifting influence works in the community,” says Panuncio as he quoted the Adventist Home Ch.4:1 p. 31.
Meanwhile, Allarse challenged his members to participate actively in this church’s initiative so that the message of hope will spread rapidly. “We will continue to do what we have started, and strengthen our organized care groups.”
According to William Beltran, leader of Jasper Care Group said, “I am very thankful of this launching of IEL, because I felt the need of care and comfort to the family who doesn’t yet know the truth, and this is a way of gaining people to Christ.”
