Publishing Ministries convene in Samal

The Adventist Church in Davao region (DM) Publishing Ministries, through the leadership of Pastor Danny Inato, director, spearheaded a weekend retreat at Kaputian Beach Park in the Island Garden City of Samal on October 29-31, with the theme, “Arise! Shine through literatures! Jesus is Coming!”

The Unified Messengers Association (UMA) and the Literature Evangelist Association of Davao (LEAD) with their presidents Mr. Ian Dan Lorenzo and Mrs. Imelda Pajarillo, flocked to the retreat venue. Pastor Jemsly Lantaya, DM youth ministries director, gave the keynote message and was followed by a talent presentation by the associations.

The theme: “Arise, Shine through literature, Jesus is coming was a call to every literature evangelist (LE), this according to Pastor Rey Cabañero. Publishing Ministries director of the Adventist Church in Mindanao was the guest speaker, who also spoke during the Sabbath worship. He encouraged every LE, to continue the work which God has commissioned them, by spreading the good news to the entire world through written and printed materials. He also shared his personal experiences while working as literature evangelist that gave inspirations to the attendees. He also challenged the LE’s to continue doing the task without complaining.
