On May 24, 2020, Kulaman Valley SDA Church, located in a far-flung area of Arakan, Cotabato, gladly and inspiringly held a Voice of Prophecy Graduation of its 48 students who remarkably completed the Bible Corresspondence Course.
Bro. Garry Dayuman, the church elder together with the unified efforts of the church members, hosted a VOP Correspondence School with the hope of finding a sacred place for the Word of God in the hearts of the people within and without the community and as God’s Grace always flow, the effort successfully won three couples to Jesus Christ.
On the other hand, notwithstanding the prevailing GCQ, God inspired the kind heart of the Brgy. Captain who eventually granted the permission to conduct the VOP Ceremony inside our church in Kulaman. Praise be to the Lord for the Brgy. Captain bestowed not only his unfaltering approval but also attended the full ceremony together with his wife. Aside from that, the event was also blessed with the presence of two Brgy. Councilors who at the same time were VOP students; moreover, one of the two councilors was a Baptist Pastor.
After the ceremony, the graduates received their certificates, with humble presents magnanimously given by the church members and the entire Marilog District B to those who got high scores in the VOP answer sheets. What is more, the one who got the highest score was one among those male candidates for baptism who testified to the brethren of his diligence and desire in studying the Word of God and rooting out each exact meaning even up to late hours of the night. The three couples who joyfully accepted Jesus Christ were subsequently baptized in a nearby river on that same day.
Thanks be to the Lord who colored the entire ceremony with His presence! (Pr. Harold Saavedra)
