PARL director visits TESDA-Davao director

“We have to make this happen now while I am still here,” says Egmedio Valdez, Jr., Center Administrator of the Korea-Philippines Vocational Training Center of Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) in Davao City about the possibility of the Church having to offer technical trainings and seminar for the members.

Valdez, an Adventist continued, “it would be a very great idea having TESDA partner with the Adventist Church to enhance the skills of our church members.”

Meanwhile, Pastors Filomeno Delgado, Communication and PARL director at the church in Davao, suggested that if this offer pushes through, the training be done in the church heaquarters along Palm Drive, Bajada to which Valdez welcomed it very positively.

The visit to TESDA on January 29 was primarily to look at a sample structure that will be used for exhibit of the Oplan Pablo document updates ended very positively in favor of the church.

Along with Delgado are Pastor Joel Arbias, Rhoen Catolico, and Bart Genovia. Also with Valdez was Center Assistant Administrator, Michael Alicaway.
