Update One: Spiritual Formation Seminar

January 24, 2013 • in News & Events

“We sing, ‘I’ll go where you want me to go, dear Lord,” but sometimes when reassignment comes we sing, ‘I shall not be- I shall not be moved,” quipped Pastor Bienvenido G Mergal during the opening devotional of the Spiritual Formation Seminar, entitled, Transformed into the likeness of Christ.

Pastors and district leaders of the Adventist Church in Davao come together for this special event held at Davao Mission headquarters in Palm Drive, Bajada, Davao City.

“We need to be spiritually reorganized for us to experience revival and transformation,” explained Mergal, who is the director for the Master in Ministry program of the Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies, a graduate school for religious studies located in Silang, Cavite, Philippines.

Accompanying Mergal in this seminar is Pastor Wilson C Catolico, the Ministerial Secretary of the Adventist Church in Mindanao, who organized this aptly event.

“I am very happy that our Pastor’s wives are here with us. Though, I seldom see you, I would like to thank you for your wonderful support to your husbands and to the ministry,” Catolico said.

This seminar will run from January 24 to 26.
